Battle of Imphal
The Battle of Imphal (Meitei: Japan Laan, lit. 'Japanese attack') was a battle in the World War II.[1][2][3] It was a historic combat that took place in Imphal, the metropolis of Manipur in 1944. It was fought between the British Empire and Japan.[4] According to a voting in a contest run by the British National Army Museum, the Battle of Imphal and Kohima was bestowed as Britain's Greatest Battle in 2013.[5][3]
