Battlefield is a city in Greene County, Missouri. The 2020 United States Census show about 5,990 people living in the city.[1] Battlefield is part of the Springfield metro area.
Battlefield was named for its proximity to the 1861 Battle at Wilson's Creek, part of the American Civil War.[2]
