Beatles for Sale is the fourth studio album by The Beatles. It was released on 4 December 1964.
The band started recording the album soon after finishing A Hard Day's Night. Because of limited time, they included several cover songs along with new original songs.
Some songs on the album were also released in the United States on the albums Beatles '65 and Beatles VI.
The album shows the growth of songwriters John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Songs like "I'm a Loser" were influenced by Bob Dylan.
