Ben-Oni Ardelean

Ben-Oni Ardelean (born 1 September 1975) is a Romanian politician, vice president of the National Liberal Party of Romania (PNL),[1] university professor and, since 2012, a member of the Romanian Parliament.[2]

Education

Ben-Oni Ardelean has a Ph.D. in Political Science obtained at the National School for Political Science and Administration in Bucharest (SNSPA). He also has a Ph.D. in Theology obtained at the University of Bucharest. He also has a number of post-graduate degrees at Oxford University, Fuller Seminary, MAF, Olford Center, etc. and his works have been published in numerous journals.

Political career

Ben-Oni Ardelean started a career in politics in 2008 when he ran for a place in Romania's Senate, followed by a bid for a sit in the European Parliament in 2009, both on behalf of the National Liberal Party (PNL). In 2012, he got elected in the Parliament of Romania as a senator and in 2016 maintained his seat in Parliament switching position from senator to MP, a position he has held until the present day.

In the Romanian Parliament Ben-Oni Ardelean has been engaged in the Prayer Group and helped organize the Balkan Gathering Prayer Breakfast (2015) and also yearly the National Prayer Breakfast. He was also a key speaker for the European Parliament's Prayer Breakfast (2017), Austrian Prayer Breakfast (2018), Korean Prayer Breakfast (2006-2014), and also USA Congress & USA Senate Prayer Breakfast.
