Ben Luntz is an American venture capitalist and investor, known for co-founding Indicator Ventures and Apex Exposure.[1][2][3]

Early life and education
Ben Luntz grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, attended The Fessenden School in Newton briefly, and then The Holderness School in New Hampshire.[4] He completed high school in 1998 and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Communications from the University of Vermont.[5]
Career
Ben Luntz started his career as an account manager at FuseMarketing and later moved to New York in 2002 to work for Clear Channel Entertainment, where he organized branded live music events for several companies including Miller Brewing Co., SONY, and T-Mobile, among others.[6] In 2005, he joined Tenth Street Entertainment as Vice President of Integrated Marketing.[2][7] In 2007, he founded a digital marketing agency called Apex Exposure, which was later acquired by Big Fuel, where he became Vice President of Emerging Media.[8] Big Fuel was later acquired by Publicis Group in 2011.[9]
While running Apex Exposure, Ben also co-founded MadTravelers, a company offering luggage logistics services.[10] One of its brands, Lug Less, appeared on the 25th episode of Shark Tank Season 4 in 2013 and was acquired by Luggage Forward in 2014.[11][12][13]
In 2011, Ben became an angel investor, supporting startups like Buzz Table and Bombas.[14][15] In 2014, Ben shifted from being an angel investor to founding Indicator Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund.[16][17] He serves on the board of several companies, including BOND, which was acquired by Newell Brands (NWL) in April 2016, and Inkshares, which produced the Apple TV series, Palm Royale.[18]
In 2014, Ben joined the Board of Directors for Experience Camps, a nonprofit organization started in 2009. The organization offers free programs across the country for children who have lost a parent, sibling, or primary caregiver.[19][20]
