Billy Maxwell

Billy Joe Maxwell (July 23, 1929 – September 20, 2021) was an American professional golfer.[1][2] Maxwell was born in Abilene, Texas. He won the U.S. Amateur title in 1951. Maxwell won seven times on the PGA Tour. He also played on the 1963 Ryder Cup team and was elected to the Texas Golf Hall of Fame.[3][4]

Maxwell died on September 20, 2021 at the age of 92.[5]
