The University of North Texas is a public university in Denton, Texas. The university has 40,796 students as of 2020. It was founded in 1890. The current president of the university is Neal Smatresk.
Sports
The athletics teams of the university are called the Mean Green. They have 18 varsity teams and they compete in the American Athletic Conference.
