Boana stellae
Boana stellae is a frog that lives in Brazil. Scientists have seen it between 200 and 600 meters above sea level on the Araucaria plateau in Rio Grande do Sul.[1][3]

The adult male frog is 40.7 to 49.9 mm long from nose to rear end. The frog is brown in color with a dark pattern on its back. It has a wide stripe that is yellow on the edges down each side of its body. The stripe goes from the nose to where the legs meet the body. There are also yellow marks on its sides. The iris of the eye is gold or copper in color. The iris is lighter on the top half than on the bottom half.[4]
This frog lives in forests. It lives near bodies of water that do not dry up, for example streams. Scientists saw one group of eggs with 200 eggs in it. The tadpoles swim in fast water.[4]
