Location of the Bolama Region in Guinea-Bissau

Bolama is a region in western Guinea-Bissau. The regional capital is Bolama, on the island of the same name.

As of the 2009, 34,563 people lived there. It has an area of 2,624.4 km² (1,013.3 sq mi).
