Carl-Göran Ekerwald

Carl-Göran Ekerwald (born 30 December 1923) is a Swedish author, literary critic, forest worker and teacher. He has written novels, short stories, essays and memoirs. His most noted works include the short story collection Kumminåkern (1962), Skogvaktarens pojke (2002) and Horatius: Liv och tänkesätt (2006).[1] He was awarded the Dobloug Prize in 1987.

Ekerwald was born in Östersund. He was married to Anna Westerberg from 1945 until her death in 2009. He lived with author Sigrid Kahle from 2010 until her death in 2013.
