Östersund is a town in the county of Jämtland in Sweden. It is the seat of Östersund Municipality.

Östersund Media

Storsjöodjuret (the Great lake monster) is a cryptid said to inhabit lake Storsjön. This figure has often been used as a symbol for Östersund, along with the moose (see above).
