Carl Dobkins Jr.
Carl Edward Dobkins Jr. (January 13, 1941 – April 8, 2020) was an American singer. He is best known for his rockabilly hit, "My Heart Is an Open Book", released in 1958. The single reached No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in 1959. The record also won a gold disc as it sold over one million copies. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dobkins died on April 8, 2020, at the age of 79.[1]
