Carolyn Jones
Carolyn Sue Jones (April 28, 1930 – August 3, 1983) was an American actress. She performed in movies and television series. She began her career in the early 1950s. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1957. She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 1959. Beginning in 1964, she played Morticia Addams in the television show The Addams Family.
Jones was born in Amarillo, Texas. She died in West Hollywood, California due to colon cancer at the age of 53.
