Chomatodus
Chomatodus (from Greek: χωμα choma, 'mound' and Greek: ὀδούς odoús 'tooth') is an extinct genus of cartilaginous fish belonging to the family Petalodontidae.

There is no type species.
Description
We don't know what it looks like. Some people draw it as a slender shark. Others mistake it for a perciform fish. So far, people have found teeth and tooth fossils instead of complete fossils.
