Christine McVie

Christine McVie (born Christine Anne Perfect; 12 July 1943 – 30 November 2022) was an English singer-songwriter and keyboardist. She is best known for being a member of rock band Fleetwood Mac.[1] Eight songs written and sung by McVie are on the band's Greatest Hits album. They include "Don't Stop", "Little Lies", "Everywhere" and "You Make Loving Fun". She also released three solo albums.

In 1998, as a member of Fleetwood Mac, McVie was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. She also received the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music. After retiring from the band, she worked on solo material. McVie appeared on stage with Fleetwood Mac at London's O2 Arena in September 2013. She rejoined the band in January 2014. Her first full shows after her return were during Fleetwood Mac's On with the Show tour in October 2014.[2] In 2014, McVie received the British Academy's Ivor Novello Award for Lifetime Achievement.[3]

On 30 November 2022, McVie died at the age of 79 after a short illness.[4]
