Christopher Meyer
Sir Christopher John Rome Meyer (22 February 1944 – 27 July 2022) was a British politician. He was the Ambassador to the United States from 1997 to 2003 and to Germany in 1997 during the Tony Blair government. He also was the Downing Street Press Secretary from 1993 to 1996 in the John Major government. Meyer was born in Beaconsfield, England.
Meyer died of a stroke on 27 July 2022 in Megève, France at the age of 78.[1]
