Chuck Nergard
Charles Lester (Chuck) Nergard (February 6, 1929 – November 9, 2017) was an American politician in the state of Florida.

Early life
Nergard was born in Chicago in 1929 and moved to Florida in 1956. He studied at Schurz Junior College, Wright Junior College, and George Williams College.[1]
Political career
As a Republican, he represented the 76th District which is in St. Lucie County, Florida. He served from 1967 to 1976 and from 1978 to 1990.[2]
Personal life
He was married to Catherine Misheck. They had two children.[1] During his time in the House, Nergard was also a part-time real estate developer. His religion was listed as Lutheran.[1]
Nergard died in Port St. Lucie, Florida on November 9, 2017 at the age of 88.[3]
