Chung Il-kwon

Chung Il-kwon (Korean: 정일권; hanja: 丁一權, November 21, 1917 – January 17, 1994) was a South Korean politician and military general. He was one of the South Korean army commanders during the Korean War.
He was Foreign Minister from 1963 to 1964, and again from 1966 to 1967, and the Ambassador to the United States from 1960 to 1961 and 1962 to 1963. From 1964 to 1970 he served as the 9th Prime Minister of South Korea. His nickname was Chungsa (청사, 淸史).
