Come and See (Russian: Иди и смотри, Idi i smotri; Belarusian: [Ідзі і глядзі] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help), Idzi i hliadzi) is a 1985 Russian Belarusian World War II drama movie about a boy in the USSR (Russia) during World War 2 in 1943 witnesses the horrific crimes in Belarus where the ruthless Nazi German Armies (of the Wehrmacht’s Nazi Ground Army and the SS’s Waffen-SS army) under the orders of Germany to kill anyone who resisted during the war. Directed by Elem Klimov and starring Aleksei Kravchenko, Liubomiras Laucevičius, Olga Mironova, Vladas Bagdonas. The film is inspired by the crimes of the infamous obscure Nazi SS infantry regiment brigade Commander Oskar Dirlewanger .
