Corporation for Public Broadcasting
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB; stylized as cpb) was an American privately owned non-profit corporation created on November 7, 1967 by an act of the United States Congress and funded by the federal government.

It was created to promote and help support public broadcasting.[3][4]
Following the end of U.S. federal government funding, the CPB announced in August 2025 that it would end operations in January 2026. On January 5, 2026, the CPB board of directors voted to dissolve the corporation entirely.[5]
