Cyclone Sidr

Very Severe Cyclonic Storm Sidr was an incredibly powerful and devastating tropical system. It resulted in one of the worst natural disasters in Bangladesh history. Between 3,000 and 10,000 people died because of this extremely powerful cyclone and damage totaled around $1.7 billion (USD).^[1] The cyclone happened in November 2007.
