Dave Loebsack

David Wayne Loebsack (/ˈlbˌsæk/; born December 23, 1952) is an American politician. He was the U.S. Representative for Iowa's 2nd congressional district from 2007 to 2021. He is a member of the Democratic Party. He was aprofessor of political science at Cornell College.[1]

On April 12, 2019, Loebsack announced he would not seek reelection.[2]
