David Briley
Clifton David Briley (born January 8, 1964) is an American politician. He is the mayor of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.[1] He was elected in 2015 as vice-mayor and was sworn in as acting mayor after Megan Barry's resignation on March 6, 2018.

Briley won the May 24 special election with 55%. He is the first native of both Nashville and Tennessee since Bill Boner in 1991 to be mayor.
