David Kramer

David Kramer (born 1965) is an American defense attorney, known as the founder of the David J. Kramer Law Firm.[1][2][3]

Early life and education

Kramer was born in 1965 in Detroit, Michigan. He received his early education from North Farmington High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in 1988, and a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University in 1991.[4][5]

Career

Kramer has been a member of the American Bar Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.[3] He has represented clients in criminal law cases and has worked alongside the former Attorney General Grant Woods. His notable cases include the dismissal of a murder case in Kentucky, the dismissal of a felony assault strangulation case in Colorado, and the State of Michigan v. Al-Tantawi murder case, among others.[6][7][8]

He has been listed among the National Trial Lawyers' Top 100 Trial Attorneys.[9] He also received the AVVO People's Choice Award in 2015 and the American Institute of Trial Lawyers' Litigator of the Year in Criminal Law in 2019.[10]
