David Penington

David Geoffrey Penington (4 February 1930 – 6 January 2023) was an Australian medical doctor and academic. He was born in Melbourne, Victoria. He was a graduate of the University of Melbourne and University of Oxford. Penington served as vice-chancellor of the University of Melbourne from 1988 to 1995.
