Debabrata Chatterjee
Debabrata Chatterjee (born 13 January 1980) is an indian teacher, social worker and literature.[1] He is known as a book lover, he came into limelight by purchasing a book worth Rs 3 lakh 36 thousand in a book fair.[2][3][4]

Early life
Chatterjee's uncle owned a library and this library enthralled him.[5] In 1994, a book fair was organized in Kolkata. Chatterjee had no idea that there was a book fair. He again went to this fair in 1999 and bought some books.[6]
Achievements
Gradually as Chatterjee got into the teaching profession and started earning money he started buying books in large numbers, till now, he has collected 14,700 books and has read 2,000 books.[7][8]
He was honored in the International Book Fair held in Kolkata in the year 2024.[9]
