e, the direct object marker is a word in the Toki Pona language. It can be put before a word in the sentence to show that is the direct object.[1][2]
e.g. mi moku e telo - I drink the water.
e.g. ona li moku e kili - He eats a vegetable
as you can see from the examples above, it shows that the word after it is a direct object.[1][2]
