Donald Pinkel

Donald Paul Pinkel (September 7, 1926 – March 9, 2022) was an American medical doctor. He focused in pediatric hematology and oncology.[1] Pinkel was the first director of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital from 1962 to 1973.[1][2] Pinkel was born in Buffalo, New York.

Pinkel died on March 9, 2022 in San Luis Obispo, California at the age of 95.[3]
