Donna Reed
Donna Reed (born Donna Belle Mullenger, January 27, 1921 – January 14, 1986) was an American actress. She was born in Denison, Iowa.
Reed had a major role in It's a Wonderful Life. She won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in From Here to Eternity. She won a Golden Globe Award for Best TV Star - Female for her central role in The Donna Reed Show.
She died of pancreatic cancer in Beverly Hills, California.

For her performance in From Here to Eternity, Reed (at left, beside co-star Frank Sinatra) received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
