Types of dry cells
- Primary cells
- Zinc-carbon cells, also known as Leclanche cells
- Alkaline cells
- Lithium cells
- Mercury cells
- Silver oxide cell
- Secondary cells
Primary cells are not rechargeable.[2] They have to be thrown away after their chemicals are used.
Secondary cells are rechargeable. They can be used again.
