East Kazakhstan Region or the East Kazakhstan Province (kaz. Shyģys Qazaqstan oblysy/Шығыс Қазақстан Облысы; rus. Восточно-Казахстанская область) is a region located on the Eastern part of Kazakhstan, on the border of Russia and China. Its capital city is Oskemen (or Ust-Kamenogorsk in Russian).
