Popular culture
Egyptian Maus have appeared famously a few times in popular culture, with one notable example being Midnight from the 2004 film Catwoman.
- Cat, one of the characters from CatDog, is an orange Egyptian Mau.
- A cat named Honeyfluff appears in some episodes of the series Kid vs. Kat. Although some sources state her as a Persian rather than a Mau, it is even harder to recognize her breed as a Bobtail or a pure-bred Mau.
