Description

An Egyptian Mau has a muscular body with fur that comes in all different colors including black, bronze, smoke, silver, blue, and caramel. This cat’s eyes are gooseberry green, giving a worried look on its face.[4]

Popular culture

Egyptian Maus have appeared famously a few times in popular culture, with one notable example being Midnight from the 2004 film Catwoman.

  • Cat, one of the characters from CatDog, is an orange Egyptian Mau.
  • A cat named Honeyfluff appears in some episodes of the series Kid vs. Kat. Although some sources state her as a Persian rather than a Mau, it is even harder to recognize her breed as a Bobtail or a pure-bred Mau.
