Electronic paper and e-paper are display devices that look like ordinary ink on paper.
Many electronic paper technologies keep the same text and images indefinitely without electricity. Flexible electronic paper uses plastic for the display.

Many e-readers, devices meant to replace traditional books, utilize electronic paper for their displays in order to further resemble paper books; one such example is the Kindle series by Amazon.
