Ellis Clarke
Sir Ellis Emmanuel Innocent Clarke, TC, GCMG (28 December 1917 – 30 December 2010)[1] was a Trinidadian politician. He was the second and last Governor-General of Trinidad and Tobago and the first President of Trinidad and Tobago. He was one of the people who created Trinidad and Tobago's 1962 Independence constitution.

He received the La Orden del liberator (The order of the liberator) Venezuela's highest public order, in 1986.
