Endive
Endive (Chicorium endivia) is a leafy plant of the family Asteraceae. The plants are either annual, or they live for two years. Originally, these plants grew in the countries around the Mediterranean. There are many varieties, but they can be split into two groups

- Batavian or broad-leaved endive
