FKA Twigs

Tahliah Debrett Barnett (born 17 January 1988[6]), known as FKA twigs, is an English R&B singer. She used to be called twigs. Her music has been called post-dubstep and trip-hop.[7]

She was on the cover of i-D magazine in August 2012.[8]

twigs released her first EP EP on 4 December 2012.

On 1 August 2013, Twigs posted the video for her single "Water Me" on YouTube. It now has over one million views.[9]

twigs released her second extended play EP2 on 17 September 2013. It was her first release on the record label The Young Turks. Pitchfork gave it a score of 8 out of 10.[10]

In 2013 BBC put her on their Sound of 2014 list of nominees.[11] In January 2014 BBC chose the winner.

twigs' first album LP1 was released in August 2014.
