The Feilding Clocktower formerly stood atop the Post Office, however when a strong earthquake struck in 1942 in the nearby Wairarapa Region the building had to be demolished and the clock tower was put into storage. In December 1999 the tower was given a new home in the centre of Feilding's CBD.
