Fernando Morán (politician)
Fernando Morán López (25 March 1926 – 19 February 2020) was a Spanish diplomat and politician. He was a member of the Socialist Workers' Party. He served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1982 to 1985. From 1985 to 1987, Morán served as the Spanish representative at the United Nations. He served as a member of the European Parliament from 1987 to 1999.
Morán was born in Avilés, Asturias. He died on 19 February 2020 in Madrid, at the age of 93.[1]
