Deutsch: Das zuerst 1930 verliehene Wappen ist abgeleitet von einen Amtsstempel, der das Tatzenkreuz zeigte. Der Wappenentwurf war mit der Archivdirektion Stuttgart vereinbart worden. Er vereint die badischen mit den württembergischen Farben.
