Description
English: A Daimler Motor-Lastwagen (motor truck) of 1898 in the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. This was originally delivered to England by DMG (Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft, "Daimler Motors Corporation"). Its mid-mounted engine is a two-cylinder Phönix ("Phoenix") engine of 1,527 cc (93.2 cu in) displacement with a power rating of 5.6 PS (5.5 hp; 4.1 kW). At an engine speed of 720 rpm, the truck reaches a top speed of 12 km/h (7.5 mph). It can carry a payload of 1,250 kg (2,750 lb) and weighs 2.5 tonnes (5,500 lb). The drive takes place via a four-stage belt transmission to the rear wheels. Later trucks were built with a front engine and prop shaft. (This image is a composite of two separate photos.)

Es zeigt einen Daimler Motor-Lastwagen von 1898, der DMG (Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft) der ursprünglich nach England geliefert wurde. Der Motor ist ein zwei Zylinder-"Phönix"-Motor, mit 1527 cm3 Hubraum, einer Leistung von 5,6 PS / 4,1 KW. Bei einer Drehzahl von 720/min erreicht der LKW eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 12 Km/h. Er kann eine Nutzlast von 1250 Kg transportieren und wiegt 2,5 Tonnen. Der Antrieb erfolgt über ein vierstufiges Riemengetriebe an den Hinterrädern. Spätere Motorenwagen wurden mit Frontmotor und Kardanwelle gebaut. Das Foto wurde aus zwei Einzelbildern zusammengesetzt.
