The symbol in the upper right, based on the Sowilo rune, reads "For accomplishments in the DJ (Deutsches Jungvolk)". The symbol in the lower left, based on the Tiwaz rune, reads "For accomplishments in the HJ (Hitler Jugend)".
Norsk bokmål: Ferdighetsbok for medlemmer av Hitlerjugend (gutter 14-18 år) og Das deutsche Jungvolk (gutter 10-13 år). S-runen i symbolet øverst er en sig-rune, det vil sien seiersrune ifølge nazi-okkultismen, mens T-runen nederst til venstre, tiwaz (tyr), var en pil- eller kamprune og blant annet merke for SAs førerskoler.
