English: A vanadium crystal partially covered with purple (probably Vanadium(IV) oxide) and green (some trivalent vanadium salts) corrosion products.
Vanadium has compounds with different oxidation states, which also have different colors. Optical microscopy image, darkfield, HDR, stacked, stitched. First, an average of 90 image series consisting of three different images were taken with various shutter speeds. Thus, a total of 3*90*3 = 810 images were taken of the object, from which individual HDR images were first created, then 90 images from each place were stacked, and finally the three images were stitched into a panoramic image.Eesti: Vanaadiumikristall, mis on osaliselt kattunud lillade (ilmselt vanadium(IV)oksiid) ja roheliste (kolmevalentse vanaadiumi soolad) oksüdatsioonisaadustega.
Vanaadiumil on erinevate oksüdatsiooniastmetega ühendeid, mis on ka erinevat värvi. Vanaadiumiühendeid kasutatakse näiteks läbivooluredokskütuseelemendis. Optilise mikroskoopia pilt, tumeväli, HDR, stäkitud, panoraamitud. Kõigepealt tehti metallurgilise mikroskoobiga tumevälja kontrasti režiimis (10x objektiiviga) kolmest kohast erineva fookussügavusega keskmiselt 90 pildiseeriat, mis koosnes kolmest erineva säriajaga pildist. Seega tehti objektist kokku 3*90*3 = 810 pilti, millest koostati kõigepealt üksikud HDR pildid, seejärel stäkiti iga koha 90 pilti ning lõpuks koostati kolmest pildist panoraampilt.English: Vanadium crystal - not a fish skeleton |
