Summary

Description
English: Translation: Hi, I'm Eva, I'm from the Netherlands. I'm spending this month in America and the funny thing is that, before I came here, I didn't really think the Netherlands had so much as a culture. For example, when people ask about typical Dutch food, I would have no idea. You don't have such a thing as typical Dutch restaurants. And like that, there were a lot of things that made me think "Actually, what's typical Dutch? What are typical Dutch people like?". I couldn't see it clearly. And actually when I came here, in a country I didn't think was that different from the Netherlands, I started to miss things from home and could I see how much difference there is, although the American and Dutch culture are not that different from each other. And now I can hear how pretty Dutch is and how nice Dutch people actually are. Dutch people are very... normal and pretty calm, I think. They don't long for much more than they have. And I don't know, I think it's a pretty nice little country after all. And it's funny to notice I couldn't see these things beforehand.
