Filipinos
Filipinos (Filipino: "mga Filipino") are a group of people from the Philippines, a country in Southeast Asia. They speak any of the languages of the Philippines.[1] Most Filipinos also speak Filipino and English as second languages in addition to their native and first languages or the other languages of the Philippines. Most Filipinos are Christian, with a Muslim minority especially in southwestern and central Mindanao, which is the southern island group of the Philippines. Due to colonial influences, Filipino culture is a blend of Spanish, American, and indigenous cultures.[2]
