Florida Parishes
The Florida Parishes (Spanish: Parroquias de Florida, French: [Paroisses de Floride] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help)), on the east side of Mississippi River–an area also known as the Northshore or Northlake region–are eight parishes in southeast Louisiana, United States, which were part of West Florida in the 18th and early 19th centuries.
