Frederick Wiseman
Frederick Wiseman (January 1, 1930 – February 16, 2026) was an American filmmaker, documentarian, and theatrical director.[1]

In 2016, he was a recipient of an Academy Honorary Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Wiseman died at his home in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on February 16, 2026, at the age of 96.[2]
