Frieda Szwillus
Frieda Szwillus (née Hennig;[1] 30 March 1902 – 21 September 2014)[2] was a German supercentenarian. She had been Germany's oldest living person from 22 April 2014 until her death almost 5 months later. She lived to be 112 years old and 175 days.

Szwillus died in Raschau-Markersbach, Saxony, Germany.[3][4][5] Szwillus was, at the time of her death, the second oldest German person ever behind Maria Laqua.

Edelgard Huber von Gersdorff (1905–2018) was one of the oldest Germans ever recorded. At age 112, she was part of an awareness campaign for the EU's 112 emergency number.
