Gary Liddell (27 August 1954 – 29 April 2015)^[3] was a Scottish professional footballer who played as a striker. He played from 1972 and 1983 for the teams Leeds United, Grimsby Town, Hearts and Doncaster Rovers.

Liddell was born in Stirling. His son, Andy (born 1973), was also a footballer.

Liddell died on 1 May 2015 in Falkirk, aged 60.^[4]
