Gavin MacLeod
Gavin MacLeod (born Allan George See, February 28, 1931 – May 29, 2021) was an American movie, stage, and television actor who was known for his role as Captain Merrill Stubing in The Love Boat and as Murray Slaughter in The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

He was born in Mount Kisco, New York on February 28, 1931.[1] He was married to Joan Devore from 1954 until they divorced in 1972, they had four children. He was married to Patti Kending from 1972 until they divorced in 1982 and remarried in 1985.
MacLeod died at his home in Palm Desert, California on May 29, 2021 at the age of 90.[2]
