Geoff Mack
Albert Geoffrey "Geoff" McElhinney OAM (20 December 1922 – 21 July 2017), better known as Geoff Mack, was an Australian country singer-songwriter. He was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia on 13 June 2005 with the citation, For service to country music and to the community,through support for senior citizens' groups.[1] As a songwriter, he wrote "I've Been Everywhere"[2] which was an Australian hit for Lucky Starr in April 1962.[3] More than 130 cover versions have been recorded.[4]
